Anderson in the NICU

Turns out Mommy and Anderson have incompatible blood types and Anderson's bilirubin levels were too high for just Bili lights, so Anderson was admitted to the NICU at Rose Medical Center yesterday morning to receive IV fluids and medications to assist with bringing down his bili levels.

Mommy and Daddy were pretty upset but they are doing better now. Anderson is doing very well and digs his "tropical vacation" under the lights as daddy says. His levels came down a bit last night but increased again this morning so he remains in his tanning bed for now with his cool shades on. Check out his tropical digs and a few new picures from today...

  3. Ugh. Why is it always nurse's kids who end up needing the NICU? So not fair. :( BUT, fixable problem, as you know, and I'm glad he isn't putting up too much fight under the lights. He's cute with shades on.
